Getting Back to Full Fitness

Fitness is everything to an athlete, and it doesn’t just come over night; it takes hard work and dedication. If you’re regularly involved in sports and you’ve recently had an injury then it can take some time to regain that fitness.
When you feel fit and healthy to start running again it’s important to take it slow. There’s no point in rushing back because you may do yourself more damage than good, and it can mean that you have to wait even longer to return back to good health.
A gentle jog is a good way to start while swimming can also be a nice way to ease back into ful fitness. You can then gradually pick up the pace or run and swim more frequently, and this along with a sensible diet will certainly see your fitness bounce back. If you’re looking to overcome a recent set back then make sure you do not rush yourself back.
